Hi Garret,

First of all, I want to congratulate you for your US Patent 11,258,379 Quantum Noise Power Devices"

I have a few questions:

1) What are the power density compared to the size of the Quantum Noise Power Devices?

- Our better devices produce about 70 W/m^2 in a tiny area. However, we’re still discovering more about how the devices work, and this may change.

2) Can it replace Lithium batteries in smart(mobile) phones or replace the battery in Internet Of

- That’s our hope. But we still have a lot of development to do.

Things? and is it cheaper to manufactor it compare to Lithium batteries of the same output power?

- It’s hard to tell. Since our devices use only very thin metals and insulators, the materials cost should be very low. I believe it will be possible to scale of the manufacturing.

3) What are the price compared to Lithium batteries for the same size and output power?

- Too soon to tell.

4) Figure 12 in your patent show a device array. Does it mean that it can be both parallel and series

- Yes, but we have not demonstrated that.

manufactored on the same chips?

- In principle, yes, but too soon to tell.

P.S I saw on your Colorado university page

that you are interested in Zero Point Energy

Maybe you have already seen my free energy linkpage at:

Hi Simon,

70 watt/m^2 is close to Andrea Rossi's 100 watt E-Cat SKLep. But the difference is Garret Moddel - Quantum Noise Power Devices doesn't have any input power. But Andrea Rossi's 100 watt E-Cat SKLep doesn't work without a connection to the grid. Some years ago I wrote on Andrea Rossi's blog that it is very easy to construct a free energy generator if it is connected to grid. You use a capacitor to phase shift input current from input voltage. In this way. The free energy generator will consume only a few watt with a very high power gain. Just like the E-Cat SKLep.

I suspect that the E-Cat SKLep is manufactored in just that way and it might not be a true free energy generator.

I have an idea. There are many claimed overunity hydrogen generators that can power a combustion engine and run a car on water. As you know the electrolysers is less then 100% effective.

But can you use a battery that powers an inverter that supply Alternating Current for the electrolyser and that you can phaseshift and make the current reactive so there is a current gain that you feed the electrolyser and make more hydrogen than usually?

There is much information on the internet and believe me, much desinformation. One idea that I have come across is that you feed the electrolyser with frequency 2.45 Hz and it will create a tenfold supply of hydrogen gas, compared to other frequencies.

Best Wishes, Hermes

P.S I have made a question and answer page with Garret Moddel at: Garret Moddel - Quantum Noise Power Devices USP 11258379

Hi Hermes,

Looks like this works, but it's going to take a while to understand it properly.

I'm not certain it isn't harvesting thermal power since they are using pretty small device areas to test and the thermal mass of the device would show a very small temperature difference at this power level. On the other hand it is breaking a symmetry in having the Casimir cavity there, so could be effectively violating CoE. Hard to tell until you get a large-enough array and get the data. I'd expect Garret Moddel to be checking this sort of stuff and to publish results when he's got them. There's not a lot of material actually needed here, and maybe he'll find a way to stack devices to improve the effective power per m² of device as well as checking the actual device temperature during power output. Good news either way for producing power. Assume he's telling the truth as well as he knows it. Still, note that Casimir cavities also affect the horizon (see Mike McCulloch's QI) and thus also affect momentum and accelerations - might not actually be zero-point energy he's getting out but for some other reason. Maybe not immediately important if you're getting the power out, but might affect how people approach trying to improve it.

As regards anything from Rossi, assume it's not producing energy until it's in use providing power for real customers. How many times do you need to find out he lied about all the previous devices before you suspect he's lying about this one too?

Ditto for being able to produce more Hydrogen than theory expects from an electrolyser. Tried many times, didn't work. Thing is that you actually produce H, which then loses a bit of energy combining into H2. Some of the electrical losses can be reduced by running hot, or by using felted electrodes so the meniscus gets electrolysed, or electrolysing steam, but you won't get over 100% efficiency. No symmetry being broken, thus conservation laws apply.

That's why I'm enthusiastic about QI theory, and the electric thrusters being produced and tested. Does break a symmetry, and thus can violate CoM, and that in turn allows violation of CoE. Should be able to reach kW levels, too. Thus probably the best fairly-immediate option for "renewable" energy in the next decade or less. Also something you can personally test if you want to.

Best regards, Simon
