Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I
say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
(John 3:3)
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man
be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That
which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
(John 3:5-6)
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye
put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
(Ephesians 4:23-24)
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and
acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:2)
And have put on the
new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
(Colossians 3:10)
If our thoughts originate in the created, we cannot see the
kingdom of God which originates in the Creator. Our task in this world is to get ideas
and thoughts from God and see the reasons behind what is happening in the world. Our
words and actions must originate from the God of heaven.
And he said to them
all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross
daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever
will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. (Luke 9:23-24)
As followers of Christ, we must constantly be prepared for the change in our lives
brought about by the God of creation. You cannot attend Sunday service and weekly
prayer meeting and then live a bachelor life without the God of creation for the rest
of the week. Then you miss the point of being a follower of Jesus.
But
the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in
spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and
they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:23-24)
For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your
own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. (Acts 17:28)
I
and my Father are one. (John 10:30)
God is the God of good causes and
He is the God of living life. The Prophet Jesus and the living God are two who became
One because of Jesus' will to always try to do God's will. He called that will - The
Father.
Our task as followers of Jesus is to pray from the heart like
Torbjörn Björck does and thank God for
the answered prayer that is possible because it is in Him that we live, move and have
our being.
If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I
do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that
the Father is in me, and I in him. (John 10:37-38)
Believest thou
not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I
speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe
me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very
works' sake. (John 14:10-11)
And we have known and believed the love
that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and
God in him. (1 John 4:16)
And when he was demanded of the Pharisees,
when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God
cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for,
behold, the kingdom of God is within you. (Luke 17:20-21)
Know ye
not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
(1 Corinthians 3:16)
It is by loving God and our neighbor with unconditional
love and living a joy-filled life that our bodies adopt divine vibrations. This leads
to our being healed and to being able to heal other people we come into contact with.
Jesus said that the Father lives within us, as the life-giving spirit that is divine,
and that we, just like Jesus, can have the Father as our source. We can transform our
lives by loving and serving our neighbor with unconditional love.
That fact
was cleary revealed by Christ when he said. "I and my father are ONE." preserving the
unity of himself with the whole. That is the basis from which all sucecessful living
must evolve and it is only to the degree that this oneness is maintained by the
individual that he begins to radiate the energy that sent him into being.
Life and Teaching of the Masters of the Far East, volume 4, page 186
It is incredibly important to understand that we live in God's world and that we are
not separate from God. On the contrary, our bodies live entirely in the field of God
and that God is never absent and someone who is difficult to contact. On the contrary,
God hears prayer, when we worship Him in spirit and truth.
And Jesus
answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our
God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all
thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first
commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as
thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. (Mark 12:29-31)
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give
you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart:
and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
(Matthew 11:28-30)
I have shewed you all things, how that so
labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus,
how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive. (Acts 20:35)
Our task as followers of Jesus is to love God with our whole being and to love
our neighbor as ourselves. Life as a follower of Jesus is not difficult and
burdensome, as long as we live a life of giving, without expecting anything in return.
