"Then Peter came up to him and said, 'Lord, how many times shall my brother wrongme and I forgive him? Up to seven times?'
Jesus says to him, 'I'm not telling youup to seven times, I'm telling you up to seventyseven times."

- Matthew 18:21-22

Peter asked Jesus if he should forgive every wrongdoing he remember. ButJesus said he should also forgive wrongdoings he did not like to remember. In otherwords Jesus wanted Peter to forgive all people, all the time.

"And forgive ourdebts. The same as we forgave the debts that others owed us." - Matthew 6:12.
"Ifyou forgive people for stepping out of line, your heavenly Father will forgive you too.
But if you don't forgive other people, your father also won't forgive you forstepping out of line."
- Matthew 6:14-15.

People of this world has begun towonder, why the progress of the world has slowed down.
Since the fall of theBerlin Wall, money counts more than rightuseness and it is a bad sign.
Under thecircumstance when people cannot develop the spiritual and the social you will find theproblem in bad understanding. Understanding cannot be reached for free, you have towork for it. You must do something to gain understanding. The greatest mountain toovercome is the mountain of unforgiveness. Jesus clearly stated that unforgivenesswill cause many unnecessary problems in your life:

"But I say everyone whogets angry at his brother will be subjected to justice, and if he calls his brother'swine', it will go before the high court, and if he calls him 'idiot', he's liableto be thrown into the fire of Gehenna.
So if you're just about to put your offeringupon the temple altar and then you remember that your brother has something againstyou, leave your gift on the floor and get out there: first make up with your brother, and then go make your offering. Get friendly with your adversary fast while you're stillon the road with him, so your adversary doesn't hand you over to the judge, and thejudge to the jailer, and you get thrown in jail; I assure you, you won't get out theretill you've paid off every last penny." - Matthew 5:22-26

Take the chance andforgive while the other still can be reached. The message of Jesus is relevant toeveryone not only Chritians. Jesus spoke to all kinds of people, both believers andnon-believers. You will not find the line were Jesus spoke: 'And only Christians needto listen to this important message..'

"..if each of you does not forgive yourbrother from your hearts." - Matthew 18:35
Anyone can forgive with just words andnot with feelings. That is why saints like Sathya Sai Baba stress so much on Love, because when you have Love in your heart it will be easy to forgive with feelings.

"And when you stand praying, forgive anything you may have against anyone sothat your father in the skies may also forgive your transgressions." - Mark 11:25

"And if there are wrongs that he has done, he will be forgiven them. So admitto teach each other that you've done wrong, and pray for each other to be healed."- James 5:15-16

"Watch and listen: by the same measure that you measured, things will be measured out and put before you. In fact, he who has will be givenmore, while he who has nothing, even what he has will be taken away from him." - Mark4:24-25
This means that the person who forgive will be forgiven and enlightened, but the one who don't forgive his light will be taken away, because man lives byconstant renewing of thought and body.

The Masters from the Far Eastexplain the inner meaning of Jesus teaching on sin:

"He bodly taught thatignorance is the cause of all sin. He saw that, in order to practice forgiveness,or the science of forgiving, man must be enlightened to the fact that man has thepower to forgive all sin, discord and inharmony; that is not God who forgive sin,for God has nothing to do with the sin, sickness and inharmony of man; that man, himself, brought these into being and man is the only one who can erase or forgivethem. He saw that man must learn that ignorance is disregard and lack ofunderstanding both of Divine Mind as the Creative Principle, and of his relationto that Principle.

He saw that man may have all intellectual knowledge and beversed in wordly affairs, yet if he does not recognize the Christ as the living, vitalizing essence of God within him, he is grossly ignorant of the most importantfactor governing his life. He quickly saw the inconsistency of asking a perfectlyjust and loving Father to heal a disease or sin. He taught that disease is the effectof sin and that forgiveness is an important factor in healing; that sicknessis not punishment sent from God, as many believe it to be, but is the result ofman's misunderstanding of his real being. He taught that it is the Truth which setsfree.

"When Peter said that he forgave seven times, Jesus answer was that heforgave seventy times seven, then went on forgiving until the act was universal. In order to forgive hate, he centered his attention on Love. This was not only whenit touched his life, but when he saw it manifest in the world about him. This Truthwas the inherent light that he saw in all, which lead them out of darkness whenapplied with understanding. He knew that every overcomer was coveneted with his Lordto be be continually forgiving sin, in meeting every inharmony with the Truth; andthis was his way of being about his Father's business. He saw and understood that inno other way could the earth be transformed, and peace and harmony prevail among men,and he said, 'If you forgive men their trepasses, your heavenly Father will alsoforgive you.'

"We know that the ideals we see in the lives of others take rootin our lives, and in compliance with the Divine Law bring forth after their kind.As long as we believe in the power of sin and see the effect of sin as a reality, the punishment of that sin will be vital in our own life. But as we give ourselvesand other truly righteous thoughts for all inharmonious ones, we are making ready the harvest of a great spiritual feast which is certain to follow the seedtime. Thusforgiveness has a two-fold mission. It frees both the erring and the loving one,for back of the application of forgiveness is a deep and radiant Love, a Love foundedon principle; a Love that desires to give for the joy of giving with no thought ofreward."

Theologians claims that Jesus is God's only son and we are only sons to humans, this mean that we have the power to forgive sin according to Jesus:
"Well then, so you'll know that the son of humanity has authority to forgiveerrors on earth" - Matthew 9:6
-"You are totally forgiven, feel love, be happyand have peace in mind."
Hermes Atar Trismegistus

As christians our life isto follow Jesus Christ in Love and Forgiveness, it is not our life to follow anychristian theology who claims success to be the most important factor in life.

Surely in the eyes of the wordly people Jesus was not successfull at all in life.Jesus had no work, no money, no home, no wife, no children, was jailed, tortured andsent upon the cross to die.

Forgivness is so important so it will makethe difference between peace and war, health and sickness, standstill and progress. The whole world may be healed from it wounds by the combination of Love andForgivness - Hermes Atar Trismegistus.
