Relax. You already have everything that you need. Your nature is already whole.
Your nature is already pure.
There is nothing to obtain. You just have to give
up and let go what is covering it.
~ Chamtrul Rinpoche
Chamtrul Rinpoche has a point. Instead of trying to achieve something, the human
spirit becomes free from wrong thoughts, by stopping thinking and living in silence.
Then the dirt that covers the spiritual diamond that is the true identity of man
disappears. One can also wish the best for oneself and other beings and express the
ideas and thoughts that come to one after wishing for the best.
Ask, and
it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto
you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that
knocketh it shall be opened. (Matthew 7:7-8)
And I say unto you,
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened
unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him
that knocketh it shall be opened. (Luke 11:9-10)
When Jesus
therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he
departed again into a mountain himself alone. (John 6:15)
Jesus
answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then
would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my
kingdom not from hence. (John 18:36)
When Jesus returns, he will not
sit on an earthly throne and judge humanity. Instead, he will come as a spiritual
master and teacher to teach the 100% spiritual life. He has clearly stated that his
way of life is a 100% spiritual life:
Jesus answered and said unto him,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom
of God. (John 3:3)
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and
acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:2)
Jesus answered,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he
cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and
that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. (John 3:5-6)
It is
the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto
you, they are spirit, and they are life. (John 6:63)
But the hour
cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and
in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that
worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:23-24)
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with
God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26)
And Jesus looking upon
them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things
are possible. (Mark 10:27)
And he said, The things which are
impossible with men are possible with God. (Luke 18:27)
Believest
thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto
you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the
very works' sake. (John 14:10-11)
And when he was demanded of the
Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The
kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo
there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. (Luke 17:20-21)
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little
children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 18:3)
But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them,
Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the
kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God
as a little child, he shall not enter therein. (Mark 10:14-15)
But
Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and
forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever
shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.
(Luke 18:16-17)
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man
will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For
whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my
sake shall find it. (Matthew 16:24-25)
And when he had called the
people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come
after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever
will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and
the gospel's, the same shall save it. (Mark 8:34-35)
And he said to
them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his
cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but
whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
(Luke 9:23-24)
It is clear that Jesus' kingdom is a spiritual kingdom. Where
people live an unselfish life and with love express God through ideas, thoughts, words
and actions.
