And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was
come near, he asked him, Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And
he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy
sight: thy faith hath saved thee. And immediately he received his sight, and
followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto
God. (Luke 18:40-43)
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily,
verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of
God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter
the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily,
verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot
enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that
which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be
born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof,
but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is
born of the Spirit. (John 3:3-8)
So, I have finally realized what the
kingdom of God is: It is to be born of the vision that comes from above - to see the
world as God sees it and does not see the world from snake perspective. When we
accept God's thoughts about ourselves and our surroundings, we become born again -
born of the Spirit rather than born of earthly thinking about ourselves and our
surroundings.
Stop chasing. You already have everything that you need. Your buddha nature
is already whole. Your buddha nature is already pure. There is absolutely nothing to
obtain. You just have to completely give up and let go of your self created
obscurations that are obscuring your buddha nature.
~ Chamtrul Rinpoche
There are different buddhist practices out there, for different people, with
different capacities, at different stages of their path. All are designed to help
remove these layers of obscurations, revealing what has always been there - buddha
nature.
~ Chamtrul Rinpoche
If you can remember that all
sentient beings have
buddha nature, it will help you cultivate equanimity towards them all, because
it will feel like every being without exception, throughout all planes of cyclic
existence, is part of your family. The greater your equanimity, the greater your
love and compassion towards them all, no matter who they are, or what they have
done, even if they have harmed you. That is the incredible power of love and
compassion, when it arises from equanimity. This is what you must strive towards,
in order to become a great bodhisattva on the path to buddhahood.
~ Chamtrul Rinpoche
How important is it not to realize that the body
shows what we think about ourselves and our surroundings. As long as we live
the body displays the animated spirit and therefore our bodies are spiritual and
not material. The meaning of life is to be born again of the Spirit and it is done
by accepting that myself and the surroundings are spiritual and that because life
is spiritual, so there are no limitations.
Equally important is to become
one with God through silence, so that one can think God's ideas and thoughts,
without being disturbed.
No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth
it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they
which come in may see the light. The light of the body is the eye: therefore when
thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is
evil, thy body also is full of darkness. If thy whole body therefore be full of
light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright
shining of a candle doth give thee light. (Luke 11:33-36)
And
after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth
them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his
face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold,
there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Then answered Peter,
and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us
make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a
voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well
pleased; hear ye him. And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face,
and were sore afraid. And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be
not afraid. And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus
only. (Matthew 17:1-8)
Jesus said that it is important how we look at life,
otherwise you can became mental or physical disability. Jesus also taught that the
divine life consists of Faith (Peter) Acts (James) and Love (John) and that the goal
of life is to build the living god hut (Christ) and not a hut to the law (of Moses)
and the prophets (Elia).
Jesus taught that light overcomes darkness and this
happens when man is open to God's truth about life on earth. By thinking God's ideas
and thoughts, man can speak God's words and perform God's deeds. A man thus overcomes
his own darkness and becomes a light.
Eckhart Tolle has in his book
The Power of Now described the discovery of being which is the silent existence
between our thoughts. As I see it, being is the same thing as the aliens'
"feeling body". According to
Eckhart Tolle
George Adamski
was told by his space friends that: Man is a divine spirit who currently lives in a
body. His life's task is to know his true self, which is equal to the
'feeling body'. "You must try to make the people on earth understand that
self-knowledge is the first step in their development. And the first questions are:
Who am I? Along what paths can I develop in order to return to the unity I once left?
Point out to them that man has nothing to add. He only needs to express what he
already is. But he must learn to understand what he is and give expression to this in
his life. For it is life, the application, that is important."
Chamtrul
Rinpoche, Eckhart Tolle and George Adamski point out that we do not need to add
anything or create any new feeling in the feeling body by visualizing our divinity.
It is by living in silence and thinking as little as possible that one
experiences Eckhart Tolle's being, which is the same as Jesus the Father and the
Buddha Nature of the Buddhists.
Instead of light defeating darkness as in
Jesus' teachings, Buddhists try to remove all obscurations, so that only the
enlightened qualities of Buddha remain.
For those who can overcome the
subconscious, Jesus' teaching of light, you can through God's ideas and thoughts,
speak God's words and perform God's deeds, is the best method. But for those who
have trouble convincing the subconscious that the body is spiritual because it is
animated spirit, the Buddhist philosophy of
letting go of obscurations is the
best method.
For me, this means that I believe that life on earth is
spiritual, light and without limitations. Actions for me are to be loving to
everyone, spreading joy through my smile, laughter and humor. Love for me means to
love unconditionally - even those
who do not have the same opinion or lack love.
