Your will be done, God, not mine

Your will be done, God, not mine
The Lord's Prayer Matthew 6:9-15
After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.Thy will be done in earth,
as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive
us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And let us not lead us into
temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power,
and the glory, for ever. Amen.
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your
heavenly Father will also forgive you:
But if ye forgive not men their
trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Doing God's
Will:
Matthew 6:10 Thy kingdom come. "Thy will be done in earth,
as it is in heaven."
The kingdom of God is revealed on Earth when we
do God's will..
Matthew 7:21 "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord,
shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which
is in heaven."
Only by doing God's will, which is more than all religious
theories, will we enter the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 12:50 "For whosoever
shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister,
and mother."
Jesus is our spiritual brother, when we do God's will instead
of our own.
Mark 3:35 "For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is
my brother, and my sister, and mother."
Jesus is our spiritual brother,
when we do God's will.
John 1:13 "Which were born, not of blood, nor of the
will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."
We who are
followers of Brother Jesus do the will of God and do not do our own will, the desires
of the flesh, or are born Israelites.
John 4:34 Jesus saith unto them, "My
meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work."
Our
food is to do the will of God and to do the good works that God wants us to do.
John 6:38 "For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the
will of him that sent me."
Jesus only did the will of God and we who are
followers of Brother Jesus should strive to do the will of God.
John 7:17
"If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God,
or whether I speak of myself."
If we do God's will, we will understand
whether Jesus' teachings are from God or whether Jesus was just babbling.

Jesus answered, "The most important thing is
this: Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one (not three). And you shall
love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all
your mind, and with all your strength. And the second is this: You shall love your
neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these."
(Mark 12:29-31)
One loves God by seeing everything as part of God and by
loving one's neighbor whom one meets with unconditional love.
My beloved,
let us love one another, for love is from God, and everyone who loves is born of
God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
(1 John 4:7-8)
And we have come to know and believe the love that
God has for us. God is love. Whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides
in him. (1 John 4:16)
When I am not loving, I have trouble doing God's
will and cooperating with God. I want to do God's will in my own way, instead of
doing God's will in God's way. When I am unloving, I am only a nominal follower
of Jesus.
And he said to them all, If any man will come after me,
let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will
save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same
shall save it. For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose
himself, or be cast away? (Luke 9:23-25)
Take my yoke upon you,
and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your
souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (Matthew 11:29-30)
To be loving and to deny our selfishness and instead help other beings is to
live by the two greatest commandments. And when we are loving, we can open our minds
to God's good ideas and God's good thoughts, so that we can speak God's living words
and let God do His good works through us. It is by learning from Jesus from the four
Gospels that we follow Jesus. We need to become aware of what Jesus believed and
taught.
Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in
me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on my own authority. The Father
dwells in me, and the works are his. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the
Father in me. But if you do not believe, believe for the sake of the works themselves.
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do.
And greater things than these shall he do, because I go to the Father.
(John 14:10-12)
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the
Spirit of God dwelleth in you? (1 Corinthians 3:16)
When Jesus was
asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God should come, he answered, "The
kingdom of God cometh not with observation: neither shall they say, Lo, here it is,
or there it is: for the kingdom of God is within you, and among you."
(Luke 17:20-21)
"That there is an all-wise, intelligent Spirit, that
this intelligence is Divine and infinite and permeates all things, cannot be
contradicted. Because this intelligence does permeate all things it is infinite and
is the source of all. It is Divine, and its Divinity brought into thinkable or
visible form, the fact or truth of all things.
You can name this all-wise,
intelligent Spirit God or Good, or what you will, as man must have a name for
everything. Once he has named a thing, he has the power to bring it into existence.
If man names anything through true
reverence,
worship and
praise, he can and does
become which he names.
Thus you can see that man by choice can become God
or animal. He becomes the ideal which he presents for himself to follow.
With this line of thinking, it is simple to see that man is the only-begotten Son
of God, or the only-begotten son of the animal. Thus, by choice, man can become
evil or devil if his eye behold evil; or he becomes God; if his eyes beholds God

My religion is very simple. You don't need to read a religious book from cover to
cover and you don't need to take long religious courses to live a spiritual life.
All you need is to love God and your neighbor and express the Spirit of God that
lives within you, instead of living a selfish life. That's what Jesus meant when
he said:
I tell you the truth, whoever does not receive the kingdom of
God like a little child will never enter it." (Mark 10:15)
