The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when [thine eye] is evil, thy body also [is] full of darkness. Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness. If thy whole body therefore [be] full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light. Luke 11:34-36

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 1 John 4:7-8

And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us. 1 John 4:16-19

The ancient Greeks had three words to convey their understanding of the different facets of love: eros, philia and agape. Eros was the word the Greeks used to describe the sensual nature of romantic love. Friendships of a predominantly platonic nature were described as philia. And then there was agape, the exalted love of God. A display of agape was indeed rare among humans, for it denoted love given through self-sacrifice and spiritual purity. Recently I had a wonderful dream that explained the the wonderful secret by which I as a person suffering from Paranoid Schizophrenia was made whole. It was through exchange of deep love between me and a woman and a man. There was no question, but it was agape and philia as it was a work of unconditionally love. It seems to me that the way to make heaven on earth was the exchange of deep love between humans. My own thoughts about love is that a person who lacks one or more love of eros, philia and agape is not made whole. Agape is unconditionally love without thinking of reward. Philia is platonic love between two or more friends. Eros is sexual love between two people. If you do not have a partner which you can experience sexual love. It is OK to pleasure yourself, if you feel satisfied afterwards. - Hermes Atar Trismegistus
